| 2009 Season Has Begun Eaglet after her very promising first day of racing with her new caretakers. The S-boat skippers ready to compete on the first day of the Memorial Day Regatta chose not to compete in the very heavy winds and seas. However, there were two races on the second day of the Regatta, with the team of Howard Howard and Bill Simmons taking the honors by a tie-breaker. Well done! In their first race on Eaglet, the team of Adrian McKemey and Kirsty Scott were in second place at the first mark and held tight with the fleet the rest of the way. It was great to see a boat so competitive in her first race. |
