2013 Season Preparations Underway
The 2012 season was an excellent one for the class...We hosted the Nationals in Larchmont,
continued participation in YRA and classic yacht events and there were many new sails
carried this year, which tightened competition and some interesting mark roundings!
2012 fleet honors went to Howard T. Howard and Bill Simmons aboard Allegro, while Kirsty
Scott handily took second for the season on Eaglet.
In September, the Nationals were hosted by Larchmont YC with representation from the
Narragensett and Quissett S-Class fleets. Individual honors went to Fred Roy of
Narragansett and team honors went to the Narragansett fleet. We could not have been
happier than to see Fred hoist both trophies as he is a true Corinthian and gentleman, as well
as a fine racer. Well done and we look forward to the Nationals in 2013!
