| 2010 Season Preparations Begun While our boats are resting, skippers have begun preparing for the 2010 season. We have 2 boats in Newport undergoing restoration and expect 8 boats to qualify this season. The boatyards will soon be busy with the sounds of sanders and bad music, but in the meantime we'll host our annual Awards Brunch on March 21. The Awards Brunch is an occasion to reminisce about the prior season and rally the troops to start getting their boats and crews in order. Trophies are distributed and skippers honored, but crew are also recognized for their contributions. Our fleet was also featured in the August and September issues of LI SAIL, an online magazine of high-quality focusing on sailing on Long Island Sound and the South Shore.
