Herreshoff S-Class of Western Long Island Sound
2010 Season Underway

The Spring Season is over and we had 7 races. The competition has been great as we had 5
boats participate and each has had at least a first and/or several second places. Bill and Mary
Anne Riley on Danae won the last race on Saturday due to guile and sheer boatspeed.

We begin the Summer Season on July 3 with the Independence Day Regatta on July 3 and 4,
followed by Larchmont Race Week, our biggest regatta of the season, the following two
weekends. We've had 5 boats participate thus far and will have Kandahar, Phoenix and Vela
starting as well in July.

Our fleet was also featured in the August and September issues of LI SAIL, an online
magazine of high-quality focusing on sailing on Long Island Sound and the South Shore.
