Howard Howard/Bill Simmons of Allegro and Rick Beck of Iroquois posted
excellent results in 2007. We had 20+ races this season, with 7 participants. All
seven boats won at least one race, most boats with >3, making for spirited
competition. We are striving to have 10 boats on the line for Larchmont Race
Week 2008!

News - We have a new member in the WLIS S-Class. Mumtaz has a new
caretaker and the boat is being re-canvased in Newport. She will be sailed down
to WLIS in the Spring and raced.
Additionally, we have a new mast. Kandahar II lost hers in brisk winds and has
found a replacement. Everyone looks forward to seeing Bob Mehlich back on the
starting line (although nearly everyone will likely drop a place...yes, he is that good).
There is an S-boat in the fleet that is for sale. Tern, the last S-boat ever built
(1941), is a proven winner. See the "Boats Available" section of our web site for
pictures and further details.
Additionally, there are 2 aluminum masts for sale. In good shape and the owner is
willing to part with them for extremely reasonable prices. Please contact us by
